The analytical chemistry group (ACG) has been a core research support facility within CSIRO for more than 20 years. Based on Black Mountain, Canberra, we observe the mailing and quarantine policy for sample submissions. The ACG is an Australasian Soil and Plant Analysis Council (ASPAC) certified laboratory. We regularly participate in ASPAC inter-laboratory proficiency programs for soil and plant analyses.

We have a range of analytical instrumentation and sample preparation equipment for organic, isotopic and elemental analyses.

    To request the services of the Analytical Chemistry Group please complete the form below providing as much information as possible on the samples and service you require. Once you submit the form you will automatically receive a copy with job number please print this and attach to samples prior to bringing them to the lab.

  • Analytical Chemistry Group consumables form

    If you require additional consumables for your project work or you are anticipating having large numbers of samples to process, please fill out and submit this form. A member from the Analytical chemistry group will then be in touch to discuss your requirements.

  • Analytical facilities

    The analytical chemistry laboratory has a range of analytical instrumentation and sample preparation equipment for organic, isotopic and elemental analyses.
