About the Industry Partner
TDMN was founded in 2018 after years of investigating a coin-less and tracking solution for shopping trolleys. They designed a product that would use mobile technology to unlock and track abandoned shopping trolleys, providing a smart and informative product for retail companies. In 2019 they commenced our R&D journey and had their first working prototype by October 2019. In 2020 we received an AC grant along with an MVP grant. In 2021 Smart Lock won an Australian design award for innovation and design excellence.
