Patrick Hartley is the leader of our Hydrogen Industry Mission. In September 2023 the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water announced that Dr Hartley would co-chair the India-Australia Green Hydrogen Taskforce, alongside Dr Ashish Lele from India.

It will report to the India-Australia Ministerial Energy Dialogue on trade, commercial and research opportunities between the two countries through the manufacture and deployment of green hydrogen.

"Australia and India are both moving quickly to establish hydrogen as part of the transition to net zero emissions. The two countries have a lot to share, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to catalyse ongoing collaboration between our countries in this area as Australian co-lead of the Australia-India Green Hydrogen Taskforce," Dr Hartley said.
