GE and CSIRO have a long joint history of world-class innovation. Our relationship was formalised in 2010, through the establishment of a $20 million, five-year R&D alliance to address tough challenges in healthcare, materials, energy, resources, ICT and analytics.
Together we’re challenging health and wellbeing through the early detection of Alzheimer’s disease, exploring a future vision for Australia’s electricity system, looking at options to increase productivity in mining through autonomous operations, developing alternative materials to decrease our dependence on finite resources and investigating how we can respond to some of the major information and data challenges facing Australia.
