The challenge

A reliance on chemicals and genetic resistance

Agriculture relies on an array of agrichemicals and crop genetic resistance to control pests and diseases.

However, they can be overcome by natural evolution in pathogen and pest populations over time, and we are moving towards a future where agrichemical use will be increasingly restricted and our ability to control these pests and diseases will be impacted.

Our response

Solutions using microbial technologies

By exploiting the strengths of beneficial microbes we use consortiums (microbiome), individual microbes, or natural products to develop and deliver sustainable alternative crop protection solutions.
