A Mechanical Engineer in the Advanced Mechatronics System Team within the Robotics and Autonomous Systems Group at CSIRO's Data61, Ms Lauren Hanson has helped create world-class communications nodes for the DARPA Subt team and is currently designing  dynamic tracked robots.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) from Monash University in 2018, Ms Hanson worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer within the Space Sector. Since joining CSIRO, she has been focussed on developing cutting-edge mechanical systems for the DARPA Subterranean Challenge.
