The opportunity

Our events focus on evidence-based, practical strategies that can be applied in class straight away.

Some of our favourite webinar themes include:

  • exploring new research and hot topics in education
  • applying strength-based approaches and growth mindsets in the classroom
  • creating inclusive learning environments
  • building 21st Century Skills (such as curiosity, problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, innovation, teamwork, and communication.)

Many webinars include free teaching resources, and all participants will receive a certificate of completion.

Program eligibility

Our free webinars are open to educators including, but not limited to teachers, teacher aides, principals, librarians and HODs.

In most cases, the webinars are suited to educators of all year levels and subjects, although secondary teachers may find the content particularly relevant.

Check individual event listings for more information.

How to apply

New events will be added as they are finalised. Sign up to CSIRO Education & Outreach updates to find out when registrations open.

Program outcomes

STEM Together is all about helping young people and the people that support them to build confidence, capability and connection with STEM.

In post-event surveys, our attendees reported that the webinars are highly relevant to their work, and that they increased their knowledge and confidence in applying new teaching strategies in the classroom.

Participants also reported that the presenters, complementary teaching resources and interactive Q&As were particularly helpful.
