To provide high quality Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education experiences and help deliver a positive impact for Australia.
As the National Science Agency, we have a duty to help build STEM capability, and a unique platform from which to do so. Being at the forefront of Australian science, we can put cutting edge science into the hands of young Australians.
To build STEM capability, we focus on:
- connecting industry to education
- supporting groups that are underrepresented in STEM
- engaging with communities
- translating our science for the classroom and the Australian curriculum
- offering professional development for educators.
As the National Science Agency, CSIRO is committed to help build the STEM-capable workforce Australian needs now and in the future. We've got a really unique platform to do this.
