The Academy works with cohorts of young Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander women from high school to various tertiary pathways and careers.
Applications are currently open for young women in Year 9 to Year 12 across all regions.

Eligibility criteria
To apply for the STEM Academy, you are;
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander female or female identifying.
- In Year 9 or above from 2024 onwards.
- Passing English, Maths and Science.
- Registered for school or homeschooling in your Australian state or territory. Including young women registered at boarding schools or homeschooling.
- Demonstrating interest in STEM subjects and topics with an expressed interest in STEM, and eagerness to enrol in STEM subjects as applicable.
