Individualised support is given to young Indigenous women participants in the form of tutoring, specialist STEM activities, mentors, peer networks and regular school and wellbeing visits.
The STEM Academy leverages existing STEM and Commonwealth support to ensure that all students that start their degree are able to complete their degree. After completing higher education, Academy students transition into further education or STEM related careers with the assistance of delivery partners, CareerTrackers. They remain part of the Young Indigenous Women's STEM Academy Alumni.
