Welcome to Term Two! The school year is in full swing, and many of you have already met with your partner this year to run or plan an activity in Term One.

If you are yet to run an activity, or yet to be partnered, now is a great time to think ahead to National Science Week - stay tuned for news of CSIRO events and resources to suit everyone who wants to get involved.

Educator Terri from Holloways Beach Environmental Education Centre is partnered with Rosie, a Water and Environmental Officer from Cairns Regional Council. Together they run a water testing program for students and lead educational sessions for the public to raise awareness of local environmental issues and solutions.

Maria and Meg from STEM Professionals in Schools attend the South Australian Science Teachers Association conference 2024

If you attended the SASTA Annual Conference in April, you may have spotted some familiar faces at one of the booths. STEM Professionals in Schools' team members Maria and Meg were on site to meet and greet current and new recruits to the program. 

CSIRO Education and Outreach will also be in Melbourne this July to attend CONASTA 71 2024 - See you there!
