Scientist's Antarctic trip is a learning opportunity

Students aged kinder to year 6 enjoyed a virtual tour of Antarctica's Casey Station, and a question time with CSIRO's Dr Ann Stavert live from the field! Find out how a 30-minute call can have a lasting impact for students learning about STEM subjects and career possibilities. Dr Stavert is partnered with STEM specialist teacher Lisa MacDonald.

Did you know you can add your education program volunteering to your LinkedIn profile? Here's how:

  1. Within your LinkedIn profile, select 'Add profile section'.
  2. In the 'Add to profile' pop-up window under the 'Additional' drop down menu, select 'Add volunteer experience.'
  3. Fill in the fields, selecting CSIRO as the organisation, Education as the cause, and enter your volunteer role name (e.g. "STEM Professionals in Schools volunteer"). Once you've completed the fields 'Save' to publish!
