Collaboration opportunities for SMEs in digital manufacturing

CSIRO is exploring technology in developing intelligent assistive equipment for the high dependence aged care sector with cross-over benefits to other sectors. Substantial growth is anticipated in robotic Artificial Intelligent (AI) equipment featuring machine vision and IoT sensor integration. These devices may, for example, shadow and keep a machine vision “eye” on resident stability, intervening in risk scenarios predicted by motion and gait analytics in conjunction with other IoT information.
