October 2024

Hi $firstname$,

I don’t know about you, but this year has flown by for the ON team! As we get closer to the end of the year, there is even more to celebrate across the innovation ecosystem. ON Prime is back, welcoming 53 new teams from 27 research institutions across Australia into the newest cohort. Over the next 3 months, teams will be learning about pathways through which their science and technology can create the most impact and how to effectively communicate their ideas. With fresh big ideas, keep an eye out for a showcase event near you.

The ON Accelerate 9 application round has closed, and now begins the (very difficult) task of shortlisting teams. Up to 20 teams will be selected to showcase their product-market fit, customer interest, and team strength at Bootcamp in November, with 10-12 teams advancing through to the program. Watch this space!

We’re working on big things for ON Core, our flagship event that brings together ON alumni, our network, innovators, and industry leaders. The theme, Evolution, is about uniting, uplifting, and recognising the unique journey of Australian research translation and its impact on shaping the future. Stay tuned for more details landing in your inbox in coming weeks.

A few weeks ago, the ON Team was honoured to have been recognised as a finalist in the 2024 Women in Technology Awards for Excellence in Industry Leadership award category. Join us in celebrating the incredible winners, and a special shout out to every single woman in STEM and deep-tech startups who are not just shaping the future—they're transforming it.
