Renowned industry and cultural festival – SXSW – took over Sydney for the first time ever, with the Conference and Expo showcasing the best of tech and innovation, music, screen, and gaming industries. The SXSW Tech and Innovation Expo featured team ON alongside other CSIRO teams, SME Connect and Company Creation and, together, we chatted to thousands of start-up folk, inspired venture capitalists, and engaged with students and innovation experts.
At the 2023 InnovationAus Awards for Excellence, we celebrated excellence in research translation. A special shoutout to our ON Program alumni, Genics, for winning the "Translation Hero" award and CSIRO spin-out company v2food, who won the “Food and AgriTech” category.
