As 2024 draws to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible progress AquaWatch Australia has made this year. From advancing our pilot projects to building strong partnerships across Australia and globally, we are on our way to creating a world-class water quality monitoring system.

Highlights from the year include incorporating the EyeOnWater app to help communities get involved in AquaWatch via citizen science, making progress on our satellite mission design, representing AquaWatch at the World Water Forum in Indonesia and working with partners to establish AquaWatch AUK. These achievements are a testament to the collaborative efforts of our team, partners, and stakeholders.

Thank you for your support and commitment to AquaWatch. Wishing you a safe and restful holiday season and a prosperous New Year.

Warm regards,
Dr Alex Held
