Farewell 2023…bring on 2024 and the start of your graduate journey

We’re getting ready for the holiday season and your GO Week. Please take the time to read the information below that will help get you ready for your start at CSIRO.

The Next Gen Talent team wish you and your families a very happy and safe holiday season and we can’t wait to start 2024 with you.

CSIRO leader session wrap-up

On 5 December, six of our leaders from across different rotation areas had an in-depth chat about why they’re excited to have graduates join their areas and answered your questions. It was great to hear from:

Get ready for 2024

Launch sheet for day 1

Your ES Grad launch sheet will guide you through steps to minimise stress and plan for a smooth day one. Please talk through this document with your buddy. 

18-month development journey map

Your graduate development journey map gives you a little taste of what you’ve got to look forward to over the 18- months of your graduate program. We will talk through this in more detail at GO Week. 

GO Week essentials

  • If you’re flying to Melbourne and haven’t received your e-flight tickets yet, please let us know asap.
  • Dress code is smart casual. You will need to wear closed in shoes, long sleeves and long pants/jeans/skirt/dress for the lab tours on the Tuesday.
  • Your CSIRO t-shirt will be waiting for you on the first day of GO Week for you to wear on the Wednesday.
  • You will need to bring your CSIRO laptop for use during the week.
  • A copy of the GO Week agenda will be emailed to you early in January 2024.

January communications

As we get closer to your start date and GO Week there will be important communication in January outlining the preparation actions you need to take. Please keep eye out for these messages and contact us any time with questions.

  • Let us know ASAP if you haven’t received your e-flight tickets.
