It has been a bit frosty out with a couple of mornings requiring ice to be scraped off a few windshields – but seems to me the days have already started getting longer as we edge towards wildflower season. You’ll notice we’ve used the Wajarri word for Winter, Jandangga. We’ll be incorporating more Wajarri language throughout our newsletters.
In the stories below, you can read about some fantastic research from our resident telescopes, events to celebrate dark and quiet skies, how supercomputers are helping unravel climate change, deployment of some SKA-Low antennas and more. We also welcome some new team members and wish others well on their new adventures.
Enjoy all the updates from across Inyarrimanha Ilgari Bundara, our Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory.
Until next time,
