Gurrulwa guligi is the ‘Big Wind Time’. The water on the floodplains is drying up and the wind seems to come from all directions. The sea is churned up by the winds and tides. The north-west winds will blow by the end of this season. This time marks the last big dry season harvest for the year until the wet season arrives.
