Coral bleaching is considered one of the biggest threats to the Great Barrier Reef.

Now, a new tool aims to more accurately measure coral bleaching in the Great Barrier Reef and other reefs in the Coral Sea.

The tool named ReefTemp was developed by CSIRO, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and the Bureau of Meteorology.

In this podcast, Wealth from Oceans Research Flagship scientist, Dr Peter Turner, discusses what ReefTemp is, and how it works.
