With live creatures to interact with and plenty of hands-on activities for engaging young minds, CSIRO's Discovery Centre is the ideal home for your child's next birthday party, from age 4 upwards.

Parties are on held weekends only and include ninety minutes of activities which involves handling live creatures (stick insects and turtles), a scientific lab with games, puzzles, experiments and microscopes, and a 3D movie.

Children also get to wear real lab coats in the lab to feel the part!

All parties are self-catered – 30 minutes is allocated at the end for 'party food' time.

Cost is A$200 for 15 children, additional children – A$10/child. There is a maximum of 20 children per party.
