The CSIRO Discovery Centre offers an interactive journey through CSIRO and Australian science history. It is one of the national capital's major attractions. Science is presented in an entertaining way to demystify it, and educate people of all ages about the fascinating world of research and innovation.

The exhibition is self-guided and allows visitors to immerse themselves in stories of Australian research and its value to society. A highlight of visiting Discovery is viewing the 3D movie exploring the latest in CSIRO and Australian science and research. The centre opened in May 2000.
An onsite cafe is situated adjacent to the Discovery Centre. Be sure to stop by for lunch or a coffee.
School groups can visit the Discovery Centre during opening hours. Bookings are essential. Limited vacancies exist for 2015. Bookings for 2016 will open 1 July 2015. Please contact the Discovery Centre for more information.
